Had to move to different site

Mike went down to the Trading Post this morning after breakfast to register and pay $110 for our campsite for 5 days. Mike was told that site 15 was reserved for someone for the whole month and we were going to have to move to another campsite. We would never have chosen that site if there had been a sign on the post saying it was "reserved".

We broke camp and moved a few sites over to site #13 and set the motor home back up. We still have 50 amp electric service, but no satellite TV or local TV station reception. After getting settled in on our new site, I fixed lunch while Mike took photos of our campsite.

Since it was so pleasant and cool outside, we spent the afternoon out on the patio listening
to the radio. We have a good Verizon signal here and 3g service for the internet. I spent some time catching up on our blog and doing some bookkeeping.

Mike had called Coosa River Campground back on April 16 and reserved a site here and gave them our credit card number and Mike was told that they wouldn't charge our card at that time (Mike forgot to tell me). So when I entered our expense today for Coosa River Campground in Quicken, I discovered our credit card had already been charged $22 for 1 day's stay.

We are going into Rome tomorrow to do some genealogical research and we will stop at the Trading Post to tell them we have been overcharged for our campsite.

With all of the trees here, it's not surprising that there are a lot of squirrels running around and this fellow stopped by for a visit this afternoon.

Tonight is another night of DVD movies - we buy new movies when they come out on DVD and then wait and watch them when we can't get satellite TV.
