We've finished painting the entry
and have started painting the family room. We had planned on painting the family room with the Cappuccino color. After we painted one wall, we decided that the family room still seemed dark even though the paint we were using was lighter than what was already on the walls. So we painted a small area with the Dove White paint and it really lightened up the room.

Sunday morning Mike was able to get the water pump primed and we could use our own water! I had been holding off on doing laundry since we were hooked up to our neighbor's water supply, so I spent Sunday afternoon doing laundry. But by Sunday evening we started having problems again and Mike turned the pump off.
Monday afternoon we decided that the reason the pump wasn't holding the water pressure was because the spin down filter was installed before the pump and needed to be installed between the pump and the water tank. So Mike made a trip to Home Depot to get the fittings that he needed to move the spin down filter.

We've spent this week painting the inside of the house. Tuesday and Wednesday we painted the living room.
Wednesday afternoon we painted the dining room. First we had to tape around the mirrors on the dining room wall. We really like the mirrors, but as you can see by this photo it was a job to tape them.
Thursday we painted the baseboards and door trims in the living room and dining room. The Cappuccino White really lightened up the rooms.
Friday Mike painted the front entry in Dove White. Then late on Friday
Late last night Mike noticed that our water pump kept cycling off and on. He went out to check it and when he put his hand on the pump it was hot, so he turned the pump off.
This morning after breakfast Mike turned the water pump back on and it was still cycling on and off. Mike checked the pump, the water softener and the well water tank and finally decided that we would need to replace the water tank because it isn't maintaining the air charge. We definitely don't want the new water pump to overheat since we've only had it a couple of months.
So we started researching water tanks on Home Depot and Lowe's websites and decided
Monday we went to Home Depot and bought paint samples of interior paint. When we had lunch at our neighbor's (Lilly & Terry) house last month, we admired the color they had painted the interior of their house. They told us the color was called Cappuccino by Glidden. So we got a couple of sample jars of Cappuccino to test in the different rooms in our house.
