Painting Inside the house & the new Water Tank is delivered

We've spent this week painting the inside of the house. Tuesday and Wednesday we painted the living room.

Wednesday afternoon we painted the dining room. First we had to tape around the mirrors on the dining room wall. We really like the mirrors, but as you can see by this photo it was a job to tape them.

Thursday we painted the baseboards and door trims in the living room and dining room. The Cappuccino White really lightened up the rooms.

Friday Mike painted the front entry in Dove White. Then late on Friday
afternoon our new Well Water Tank was delivered from Home Depot.

This morning Mike started working on installing the new water tank. He removed the old water tank and then took the fittings he had cut from the tank with him to Home Depot to get new ones. Mike had also ordered a spin down water filter on the internet and he bought the fittings for it.

Mike spent the day installing the new water tank and the spin down filter. He installed the spin down filter before the well water goes into the pump because we have so much sand in our well water.

We had hoped to be able to use our well water tonight, but the pump isn't holding it's prime and Mike will have to work on it some more tomorrow. We've been using our neighbor's water this week and it will be nice when we can use our own water.
