For 27 years Mike was a helicopter instructor pilot at Ft. Rucker, AL before retiring in June 2005. Prior to being an instructor pilot at Ft. Rucker, Mike had retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer helicopter pilot.
Sue retired in April 2006 from an RV dealership in Dothan, AL where she was the Admin. Asst/Bookkeeper. Sue had also worked as a bookkeeper/office manager & as a pub/restaurant manager in Dothan for 7 years.
In Nov 2005 we moved into our 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 38R & put our house in Dothan up for sale. In April 2006 we sold our home & left Dothan on May 1, 2006 to begin our life-long dream of being fulltime RVers.
We full-timed in the Winnebago until January 2013 when we bought a home in Sebastian, FL. We sold the Adventurer in March 2014.
But we weren't through traveling and after a lot of research, we bought a 2017 Sonic Travel Trailer in April 2017.
