Fair Play and shopping in Anderson

I spent the morning catching up on our blog posts and web albums and doing some bookkeeping.

After lunch we drove over to the town of Fair Play to look around. Fair Play is a small town with a population around 680-700. We saw some nice homes in town and took a few photos.

After leaving Fair Play we drove over to Anderson to go grocery shopping at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. On the way to the Supercenter we saw an Ingles grocery store and stopped
there to do our shopping since I have an Ingles Advantage card.

It has been quite a while since I've shopped at an Ingles and we were both impressed with how good their fresh produce looked.

After completing our shopping we drove the 15 miles back to the campground. We stopped at the office to check and see if our mail was there. We had called American Home Base last Friday to have our mail forwarded to Carolina Landing and hoped it would be here today. Katlyn told me that because the post office in Fair Play is so small that it sometimes takes an extra day for the mail to get here.

While I was talking with Katlyn, I remembered to find out what the new gate code is (the code is changed on Wednesdays).

We do have satellite TV here even though it isn't a very strong signal - Mike says our dish is pointing towards one of the trees here.
