Visit to Shoshone Falls & drive up to Meridian, Idaho

We got up this morning at 7:00 and it was 37° with a wind chill of 27°. It was 8:30 by the time we left the campground. Last night we changed our travel plans for today after talking with our friend Matt. He suggested that we stop by Shoshone Falls this morning since we were close to it. Shoshone Falls is referred to as the Niagara of the West.

Tinker really liked all of the green grass there at Shoshone Falls.

After visiting Shoshone Falls, we followed Matt's advice and drove up US-30 up to Hagerman. This part of US-30 is called the Thousand Springs Byway and when you're near Hagerman, you pass by these
waterfalls coming out of the rock walls.

A little later we stopped at a rest area and saw this wildlife viewing area.

We got onto I-84 West at Bliss, ID and drove north to Meridian, Idaho to our friends' house where we will spending a few days. We arrived at Matt & Merilee's just before 2:00.
