Drive up to Moab, Utah

We started to break camp this morning a little after 9:00 and left the campground at 10:30. Mike decided to stop and get gas at Mexican Hat instead of at Goulding's Gas Station. Mike had noticed yesterday when we drove through Mexican Hat that the gas was cheaper there.

We stopped at 11:00 at the Exxon station in Mexican Hat to get gas and paid $2.879 a gallon - that's 46¢ a gallon cheaper than we paid at Goulding's yesterday.

We stopped for gas again at 12:30 at a 7-11 in Monticello and paid $2.739 a gallon. Then we stopped for lunch at a Subway a little ways north of the 7-11. We both ordered foot long subs and saved half for our supper tonight.

We had been steadily climbing in elevation and the temperature was 45° with a wind chill of 41° in Monticello and we had Verizon LTE service with 4 bars.

We would occasionally see horses grazing alongside the highway.

We passed by this unique rock formation and found out
it is called Church Rock.

We then passed by Wilson's Arch and I managed to get a photo of it.

We arrived here at OK RV Park at 2:15 and checked in. We had driven 143 miles since leaving Goulding's Campground this morning.

We are in site #25 with full hookups and cable TV and wifi. The wifi antenna is right by our campsite and is a LOT faster than what we had at Goulding's Campground. We also have Verizon LTE service and right now I have 2 bars.

After we got the trailer set up and took a little break, we drove into Moab and stopped at the Visitor Center to get some brochures. Then we came back to the trailer and ate the other half of our subs bought at lunch today.
