Resting after 3 days of sightseeing

After 3 days of visiting the national parks here around Moab, we decided to rest today. I had bought an apple coffee cake yesterday at City Market and we had that for breakfast this morning.

Mike found a barber shop in Moab that was open and got a hair cut this morning.

We went to the Moab Brewery this afternoon for a late lunch or an early supper. It was always busy whenever we drove by it this week and decided to try it out.

We both ordered the Dead Horse Amber beer ($5 each) and Mike had the Brew House Burger with onion rings ($9.99) and I had the Mushroom & Swiss Burger with fries ($9.59). Both of our burgers were really good, the fries were good, but we both think that those were the best onion rings we'd ever had.

We stopped at the City Market to get some groceries and it wasn't quite as busy as the last time I was here. But they have the BEST reserved parking spaces -

I finally got a decent photo of the Welcome to Moab sign today.

Tomorrow we are leaving Moab and going to Capital Reef National Park about 150 miles from here. There are no hook-ups and there is no cell phone service either. Of course, that also means no wifi or internet, so we will be off-the-grid for the next couple of days.
