Poor cell phone signal & going to wi-fi at the PX

We don't have a very strong cell phone signal here at Fletcher's Fork Campground at Fort Campbell and our 3G signal isn't any better. So this afternoon after lunch we drove on base to find a place to wi-fi. We stopped at the base library to see if they had wi-fi and they don't. They did tell us that the Food Court at the PX did have wi-fi.

On our way over to the PX we passed by this tree decked out in fall colors,

stopped to take a photo of this eagle sculpture

and passed by the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters building.

We got to the PX about 1:30 and found a table in the Food Court that was close to an electric outlet so I could plug in my laptop's power cord. I wasn't able to get on to the wi-fi in the Food Court, but I now had a strong 4G signal
on my cell phone and I used it to connect to the internet.

I updated our blog, web albums and 2012 travel map for the last few days and downloaded e-mail and checked the balances on our credit cards.

Mike went over to Baskin Robbins and got a couple of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup 31° Belows for a snack while I finished working on the computer.

We left the PX around 4:00 and headed back to the campground. Fort Campbell was having their Octoberfest today near the campgrounds and we had to take a detour route to and from our campground. On our way back we saw this small herd of deer feeding near the road.

It was 45° this morning and it warmed up to 57° this afternoon. Tomorrow our temps are supposed to be about the same as today's.
