Stoney Creek Resort & Satellite TV Finally

Another cool morning today - 59° and sunny. After breakfast we took the garbage down to the dumpsters which are finally empty. Mike had started to take the garbage down the other day, but the dumpsters were so full that people were putting their garbage backs on top of the dumpsters.

We took our camera with us when we walked down to the dumpsters and Mike took photos of the campground.

We are a little late taking photos of our campsite, but we got some this morning.

There are a LOT of permanent RVs here that I guess people use on the weekends.

There is also Stoney Creek Lake here for fishing and swimming.

There are ducks that live around the lake and they come up to the office to be fed twice a day.

There are also some ducks kept here at the campground just across from

our campsite. They stay in a building at night and are let out into their pen during the day.

We decided to try one more time to tune in the satellite TV this afternoon and finally by raising it 2° higher, we got a signal. It's not a strong signal, but it's enough to get all of our channels.

I spent the day uploading the photos we took in Washington, D.C. at the National Air & Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History and sights around D.C. Then I updated our blog about the trip to D.C.

Tonight after dinner I've gotten our blog up-to-date, all of our photos uploaded to our web albums and our location map for our blog updated. Yeah!!!!

I haven't done any work on our genealogy because I needed to get our blog and photos updated. I still have notes that I've taken at libraries that I need to go back over and check for any information or leads on our ancestors.
