Since it was early we were the first people there for lunch and had our pick of tables. I chose this table by one of the windows since the seats looked very comfortable.

Mike and I both chose the Tavern Burger; I had sweet potato planks (real thin slices that were fried) with mine and Mike had potato salad.

I told Margaret we were researching the Neale family in the late 1690’s thru the 1700’s. She got out several Neale family files and selected a number of books that might have information for me. The historical society charges a research fee if not a member of the society and we paid $10.
I looked through some Neale Family files and several books on Northumberland County. I found some information on Abner Neale and some other Neales in County Records, but didn't find any a will for Abner Neale or any cemetery records for his family.
