Moved to Ocean Pines RV Park

We got up this morning at our usual time and started breaking camp after breakfast. While Mike dumped the tanks, I got the inside ready so we could put the slides in. Because the sewer connection is positioned under our living room slide, Mike had to connect our sewer hose before we could put the living room slide out when we came here. So this morning we had to put the living room slide in before he could disconnect the sewer hose and pack it away.

We hitched up the car and stopped at the campground office to check out before leaving Indian Cove Resort a little after 10:00. We drove north to the Oceana Naval Air Station and

stopped at the gas station at the Navy Exchange.

We found a place to park the RV where we could unhitch the car and then Mike drove the RV over to the gas station to get gas ($3.229 a gal). After filling the tank in the RV, I drove the car over to the Ocean Pines RV Park and Mike followed in the motorhome.

After entering the security code for the entrance gate, we found a place to park the RV so we could drive around and locate an empty campsite. After looking at the few places available, we settled on campsite #9 and went back to the RV. Even though the campground office is closed on Sundays one of the volunteers, Lisa, was there and gave us our registration papers and wrote down the number of our campsite.

The layout of the campsites is different and the sewer connections are located under the RV. This used to be a trailer park and was converted to a campground, but the connections  weren't changed to allow for RVs.

We drove all of 10 miles today and will be here for 2 weeks. We have full hook-ups (50 amp elec) and are paying $140 a week (the daily rate is $22-25).

We decided to drive over to the Subway in the Food Court at the BX and get subs for dinner. When we got to the Food Court we decided to try Great Steak instead and ordered the Bacon Cheddar Steak sandwiches with french fries. We took our sandwiches back to the RV to eat. The sandwiches were OK, but we both agreed that Subway would have been better.
