While we were at Lynchburg Preserve we had low voltage at the campground and our Energy Management System kept shutting off the power to our motor home so the low voltage wouldn't damage
our electrical system. Our Powerline Energy Management System has indicator lights on the Power Status for the refrigerator, water heater, 2nd A/C compressor and fan speed. Normally when we are connected to either 30 amp or 50 amp electric all 4 lights are lit and indicate that the power is sufficient to run everything that is lit.
Well, ever since we had low voltage at Lynchburg, the only light on the Power Status that is lit is for the refrigerator. When we were driving here yesterday and ran the generator, all 4 of the lights on the Power Status were lit. But after we connected to 50 amp electric here at the campground, we are back to only the light for the refrigerator being lit. Also when we turn on the A/C, the Power Management indicates that we don't have power enough to operate the frig. Although after a few minutes we are able to run the A/C, refrigerator and electric water heater, even though the Power Status lights for those items aren't lit.
Mike called Winnebago Service today and spoke with a technician about the problem and confirmed that the problem is with the circuit board for the Power Management System.
Mike then called Pride Resort in Waynesville, NC (our next stop after Bandit's Roost) and confirmed that they take mail and confirmed that we could have a package for us sent there. Mike requested a campsite near the river and we were able to get the campsite we were in 6 years ago when we stayed there.
Mike then called Mobility RV in Forest City and ordered the circuit board and is having it sent to Pride Resort.
We noticed last night that Mike's cell phone was indicating no cell service while my phone had 3G service. Mike made his phone calls on my cell phone before we called Verizon to find out what the problem was. It turned out to be a setting under mobile networks and the roaming had been turned off. Once we changed the setting Mike now had phone service, but no 3G. My phone showed that when I was roaming when I was using 3G data and I confirmed with Verizon that I wouldn't be charged any roaming fees.
I spent today labeling and organizing the photos we took at Appomattox and the ones I took when driving here from Gladys. Just as I was ready to upload the photos to our web albums and update our blog, I lost my 3G data service tonight at 10:00 and couldn't get it back.
If it isn't back up tomorrow, we'll go into Wilkesboro to the library and use their wifi.
