Mallards at Pride RV Resort

When I went out to walk Tinker when we got up this morning, I saw the ducks feeding in the creek and grabbed the camera. Mike came out and joined us and took some videos of them. There were about 3 or 4 pairs of Mallards with their young feeding along the bank of Jonathan Creek and in the water.

We enjoyed watching them the last time we were here and it was nice to see them again.

We had planned on having breakfast at the Pride Cafe this morning, but

we just weren't very hungry and decided to have the buffet breakfast tomorrow.

I loaded up our laundry and Mike helped me carry it over to the Laundry Room which isn't very far from our campsite. They have 6 stacked front-load washers/dryers and it was nice to see that the prices for the machines hasn't gone up. It was $1.50 for a washer and $1.00 for a dryer and the dryers died everything in just one cycle.

After lunch I took Tinker for a walk and we went up to the office to see if our mail from American Home Base had come in today and it had. We had a few magazines from our membership campgrounds and some first class mail.

After looking through our mail for a while, we drove over to Lake Junaluska on I-40 to go to Lowe's. We bought an A/C filter, a water filter, a saucer for the potted Mum and a few other items. We decided to take a different route back to the campground and drove west on US-19 and then north on US-276.

It was 54° this morning when we got up and it did warm up to 75° this afternoon, but it was comfortable enough that we kept the windows open all day. We kept the windows open last night until we went to bed and we will probably do the same tonight.
