This morning we slept in and then drove over to Mike and Gayle's RV for a late breakfast that Mike cooked for all of us. We visited some more and talked about where to go for some sightseeing and decided to visit Randolph Air Force Base and Fort Sam Houston. Fort Sam Houston, Randolph AFB and Lackland AFB have been consolidated into what is now called Joint Base San Antonio.
One of the first things we saw at Randolph AFB was the Missing Man Monument.

We passed by the Quadrangle which is the oldest building at Fort Sam Houston and now is the headquarters for the Fifth Army. Geronimo and 30 other Apaches were housed here from Sept. 10, 1886 to Oct. 22, 1886.

After our sightseeing around the bases, we went to Mike and Gayle's favorite Mexican restaurant Taqueria Chapala Jalisco for dinner. Mike order a beef burrito and I had a chicken quesadilla. The food was really good and we could see why Mike and Gayle liked eating there.
After dinner we went back to their RV where we had left our car and took one last photo before we left to go back to our motel.
