Frances fixed a meat loaf, roasted potatoes, corn and green beans and then a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for dessert - everything was delicious. Everything is furnished at the time share, Frances and Jack just have to bring their clothes and food.

After lunch we all drove over to Cyril and Elaine's to visit with them - at least today we did take pictures. We have been known to bring our camera and then forget to take photos.

Mike and I left about 3:00 to head back home. We did stop at Tractor Supply in St. Cloud to buy a couple of bags of corn to feed the squirrels in our yard.
Mike finished painting the walls on the house on the 4th.

I finished painting the white quoins (masonry blocks) on the front corners of the house and had started painting the window trim. The north and south walls of our house have a high peak and Mike measured the wall and it is 16 feet from the peak to the ground. Thank goodness we had a Little Giant ladder and it can be extended so Mike can reach the top.

On the 5th I took Tinker to the vet because he had a lump about the size of a half dollar on his back and it turned out to be an abscess. Tinker has to take antibiotics for 2 weeks and it should heal up - which is seems to be doing.
Feb. 7th was the Valentine Genealogy Seminar at the Indian River State College campus at Vero Beach. It's a day-long seminar with a guest speaker and we have a box lunch. This was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Mary was there, but our friend Carol had waited too long to register and it was sold out. Three other genealogical societies sponsor it along with the Indian River Genealogical Society (IRGS). The speaker was Lisa Louise Cooke who has GenealogyGems website and I learned a LOT.
While I was at the Valentine Genealogy Seminar Mike painted the trim on the windows on the front of the house, south wall and office windows. That leaves just 3 windows on the north wall. We have some touch-up painting to do around the quoins and window trim and then we will be done.
I called our vet on the morning of the 11th to see if we could take Tinker in, since his back seemed to be bothering him. Our vet Dr. Slade isn't in on Wednesday and they referred us to Dr. Witte in Vero who handles Dr. Slade's patients when he isn't available. We took Tinker in and they x-rayed his back, pelvis and back legs and found no problems. Apparently it was probably a soft tissue injury or muscle and not a spinal problem, thank goodness. We were given Rimadyl for his pain and told to just restrict his activities and no jumping up or down.
