We have mail

It was still raining this morning when we got up. It rained hard enough last night after we went to bed to wake us up.

After lunch we drove to the Downtown Post Office Station to get our mail at General Delivery. While I was inside getting our mail, Mike took this photo of the mural on the post office building.

We drove by the Barnes & Noble and saw this sculpture in front of the store.

Our next stop was at Sam’s Club to get Tinker’s chicken jerky treats.

We went to Don Jose’s Mexican Restaurant for lunch. Mike had their Grilled Burrito with Carne Asada beef and I had the Grilled Burrito with chicken. We each got the lunch meal and the portion was huge. We really enjoyed it and the food was very good. There was a table tent with a photo of their Fried Ice Cream and it looked very tempting, but we were too full after lunch.

Tomorrow we’re going to the Alaska Museum of Natural History and the Anchorage Museum.
