Thursday of last week Symphony arrived in her Winnebago Brave motorhome to visit for a few days.
She brought her friend Dot with her and they have been traveling around Florida visiting with their relatives the last couple of weeks. We had not met Dot before and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her.
On Friday and Saturday, Mike replaced the water filter on Symphony's RV and did a few odd jobs on it that she needed to have done.
On Saturday I took Symphony and Dot up to the Grant Antique Mall about 13 miles north of here. We pass by there whenever we drive up to Melbourne on U.S. 1, but have never
stopped. We all had a good time looking around and Symphony and Dot bought a couple of things there. After that, we stopped at Sebastian Roadside Restaurant for lunch (Mike fixed a sandwich for himself for lunch) before going down to Vero Beach to visit a couple of consignment shops that Mike and I like.
Saturday night we took Symphony and Dot out for dinner at Squid Lips here in Sebastian. It's one of our favorite places to take visitors - we have a great view of the Indian River where we sometimes can see dolphins swimming, pelicans and sea gulls fishing and watching the boats on the river.
Symphony and Dot left this morning to head back home in northern Alabama. Tinker and Chrissy had a good time playing together (Chrissy always heads straight to Tinker's box of toys and finds one she likes).
