Moved to Sherwood Forest RV Resort

There is a restaurant near the Aloha RV Park called Woodsby's Countryside Cafe and every time we've driven by it, the parking lot is always full of cars and trucks. We went there for breakfast Monday morning and had a great meal. Their slogan is "Good Food and Plenty of It" is definitely true.

Mike ordered the Hungry Man with 3 eggs, bacon, sausage links, Home Fries and a half order of biscuits and gravy. I ordered the Fabulous Five with 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, peppers & onions, bacon, grits and a biscuit & gravy. Woodsby's definitely lived up to their slogan - the food was good and there was a lot of it.

We drove over to Sherwood Forest RV Resort yesterday to check it out. We stopped at the office and confirmed our reservation for Friday. We found out what camp site we were going to be on (#65) and then we drove
over to check it out. There was a motorhome on site #65; we checked the campground information and found out that check-out time is noon.

When we got back to Aloha RV Park yesterday, we stopped to talk with the owner Ray and told him we had been over to Sherwood Forest and that the site we've been assigned it occupied and that check-out time is at noon. Ray said we could just leave whenever we wanted to on Friday. Ray came by tonight and read our electric meter since he wouldn't be at the campground when we left. Our electric bill for the month was $53 - not too bad.

This morning we got ready to move over to Sherwood Forest. Since we weren't leaving until noon, I washed 2 loads of clothes at the campground laundry. We left Aloha RV Park at 12:30 after eating lunch. We drove the 8 miles to Sherwood Forest RV Resort here in Kissimmee.

We checked in at the Sherwood Forest Office a little before 1:00 and requested to have a 50 amp electric site and we were changed from site #65 (30 amp) to site #610. We are staying here under our Coast to Coast membership, so all we had to pay was a daily resort fee and taxes which came to $31.11 for 4 days.
