Moving to Aloha RV Park tomorrow

The last couple of days have been interesting and hectic to say the least. First we called the Osceola County land use enforcement inspector yesterday morning (Monday was a holiday) and explained to him that we had my brother's permission to park on the property. We told the inspector that people had been dumping trash on the property and someone had even dumped a kitchen stove there and that my brother wanted us there for security purposes.

The inspector said we would need to file for a permit with the Zoning Board and he would give us a week to start the process and we could stay on the property while we waited for approval.

Long story short - we drove down to the county offices yesterday morning to pick up the paperwork from the Zoning Department  to start the process for us to get a permit to park at the church property. It was going to cost

$1010.00 (nonrefundable) for the permit and we would have to appear before the Zoning Board and the next meeting wasn't until March - that is way too much money to spend when we're only going to be there for a little over a month.
After we left the county offices we stopped by the Aloha RV Park on Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee and spoke with the owner Ray about moving into the campground. Ray took us over to one of the campsites that was available. He told us the rates were $400 a month plus electric. That's not too bad since we are in the middle of the winter season in Florida and the some of the campgrounds are charging $40 - $50 a day minimum, so we told Ray that we would be arriving tomorrow and staying for a month.

We still have the motorhome parked in front of the church and have been using our solar panels and house batteries and occasionally the generator for power. We'll come back over in a day or two and Mike will removed the 50 amp electric box we have connected to the church's electric service.
