Visit to Patrick AFB and lunch at Meg O'Malley's

Last week we drove up to Patrick Air Force Base to get me a new military ID card because the one I had was expiring soon. Mike also got a new retired military ID card since the military is no longer putting social security numbers on the cards and the one Mike had his social security number on it. We were able to make our appointments online the week before we went up to Patrick AFB. My appointment was at 10:00 and Mike's was at 10:20 and we were called in at the same time. The young Airman that processed our new ID cards was really nice and even took Mike's photo over again because she didn't like the way the first photo came out!

After we had our new IDs, we drove over to the FamCamp at Patrick just to
see it (we had stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed our stay there) and then we went to the BX. We bought Pill Pockets for Tinker and I got some gardening gloves.

Then we drove over to Melbourne to have lunch at Meg O'Malley's. We both ordered The Kilkenny (Reuben) sandwich and we shared an order of O'Malley's Chips (potato fries).

After lunch we drove to Harbor Freight Tools, Tractor Supply and Sam's Club to do some shopping before we headed back home to Sebastian.

This last Thursday Mike had his eyes examined in order to get new glasses. I probably need to have my eyes examined, but I'll wait a bit and see how he does after he gets his new ones.

It's been 2½ months since we left the motorhome at PPL in Houston and it still hasn't sold. We've lowered our price again. The salesman explained part of the problem is because it is 39 feet long and the RVs that are selling quickly are the shorter ones. He says that ours looks great. They have someone run the generator every so often and we paid extra to have the detail crew come in every couple of weeks so the inside is clean and dusted.
