Christmas and our 45th Anniversary

We went over to my brother's house Christmas dinner. We were joined by my niece Kathy and her family. Then after dinner my nephews opened their presents and then we all posed for a family Christmas photo.

What a great looking family!!

It was cold this morning when we got up and there was even a thick coating of frost on the car.

Today is our 45th wedding anniversary and we went to

the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration for lunch.

From Kissimmee

We both ordered the 1905 Salad and Salteado (sauteed onions, green peppers, fresh garlic, mushrooms, diced potatoes, and chorizo with beef or chicken) for our entree with hot Cuban bread. Mike ordered his with beef and I had chicken with mine and we both had iced tea.

Our waitress was nice enough to take our photo with Mike's phone.

Mike had the Key Lime Pie for dessert and I had the Godiva Chocolate Cake. After lunch we stopped by the gift shop and bought a bottle of their 1905 salad dressing. Everything was delicious from the salad to the dessert. Our bill for lunch came to $66 - not something we would do often, but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Then this evening we went to my brother's house to celebrate his 86th birthday and had 2 kinds of cake with ice cream.
