House Hunting, Thanksgiving & Refrigerator quit working

We've had a busy month here in Kissimmee. On Sundays we met my brother and family and another couple for lunch at Perkins and then spent the afternoon visiting at my brother's house. We went to my brother's house for Thanksgiving dinner and my niece and her family joined us.

From November 2012

We've had 2 meetings with our realtor here in Kissimmee and have looked at about 10 houses so far. A couple of houses that we were really interested in already had contracts on them, so we didn't look at them (maybe the sales won't go through). Our realtor, Dave, recommended Broadway Pizza Bar in downtown Kissimmee and we ate lunch there one day after house hunting - we will definitely go back again.

Since we sold all of our furnishings from our house in Dothan when we started full-time RVing, we will have to completely furnish the house that we buy. Our son, Fletcher, suggested we check out Ikea, so we drove the 12
miles up to the Ikea store in Orlando one day. Since it was almost lunch time when we got to Ikea, we had lunch in their cafe (chicken fingers & FF) before we walked around the store. We checked out the furniture, kitchen cabinets and appliances and even bought a stuffed dog for Tinker. We will definitely keep Ikea in mind when we need to buy furniture for our new home.

I did get an appointment with a podiatrist here in Kissimmee and had my black toenail removed. Everyone I knew that had the surgery done told me how painful it was, so I wasn't really looking forward to having it done. They just didn't have the right doctor - I did take a few ibruprophen after the surgery for a couple of days, but that was all I needed.

However, November ended on a bad note - yesterday evening we noticed that our refrigerator didn't seem to be cooling. Mike switched it from electric to propane and back again and nothing seemed to help. When we got up this morning the refrigerator was off and we couldn't get it to turn back on.

Long story short - we bought 3 styrofoam coolers and bags of ice at Walmart Supercenter to put the food from the refrigerator in. There is a frig in the church building, but it needed to be cleaned first. After washing out the frig in the church we moved most of our food over to it.

Mike called Winnebago this morning and spoke with a technician who said it sounded like the circuit board for the refrigerator was bad. Mike called Mobility RV where we order our RV parts from and they confirmed that it sounded like the circuit board was the problem. Mike gave Mobility RV the model and serial number of our Norcold frig and ordered the circuit board which should be here next week.
