Oriental Headboard & More House Painting

We've been trying to come up with inexpensive ideas for a headboard for one of our guest rooms. Once we decided on what we wanted, the next problem was where to find it. We wanted a 3-panel floor screen with an Oriental look and we finally found one on the internet at Oriental Furniture for $149.00. It went perfectly with the queen comforter set I had bought last September from Anna's Linens.

Last Tuesday (Jan. 7) Sears delivered the queen mattress set and bed frame that we bought last month and set up the bed. Mike removed the
hinges from the floor screen panels and we turned 2 of the panels on their sides and attached them to the wall above the queen bed. Voila - one oriental-style headboard!!

We get our internet from Comcast and had been renting the modem from them, but this month they have raised their monthly rental fee. We bought a Netgear router from WalMart and a Motorola cable modem from Best Buy and returned the Comcast modem.

We've been painting the inside of the house and did the master bedroom. We love the vaulted ceilings in the house and the master bedroom is the last room with the tall ceilings to be painted.

Thank goodness for the Little Giant ladder that Mike bought a few years ago!

We have been discussing RVing and have decided to sell our 39' Winnebago Adventurer motorhome. We still plan to travel, but would like to have a shorter RV since we aren't full-timing any more and won't be taking all of our worldly goods with us.
