I don't mean to sound boring, but there really wasn't too much going on this month for me to post about.
We've begun joining our friends Chris and Matt, and Nancy and Bill and their son Steven for a 9:00 breakfast at IHOP in Vero every Monday. We have a good breakfast and catch up on each other's news.
Mike was able to make camping reservations for Curry Hammock State Park for next June for 5 days. The State Park had quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Irma, but it is now open for day use only and they are working to get the campground repaired so it can reopen.
This last weekend Tropical Storm Phillipe "visited" us and we had 4" of rain from the storm.
I'm still working part-time for the medical practice in Ft. Lauderdale and doing their bookkeeping from home. It's only about an hour or so a day Tuesday through Saturday - which are the days the office is open.
We had 2 Trick or Treaters tonight - we had 4 last year. We used to have about 20 for Halloween when we moved here in 2013.
Yesterday was Fletcher's birthday - wow, 48 now - hard to believe. It doesn't seem that long ago he got his first bike for Christmas and that was 44 years ago.
